Before we could move freely,
we moved strategically.
WHAT WAS THE GREEN BOOK?
The Negro Motorist Green Book was a guide that helped Black travelers find safe places to eat, sleep, and exist during segregation.
Published from 1936 to 1966, it wasn’t just a book — it was a lifeline.
WHY IT MATTERED
Traveling wasn’t simple.
Every stop had to be calculated.
Where could you go?
Where were you safe?
Where would you be turned away?
Movement required awareness.
And awareness became survival.
This collection is our interpretation of that reality.
Each piece represents movement — across cities, across states, across experiences.
It’s about navigating spaces that weren’t built for us…
and still showing up with presence.

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES
Part I introduced the story.
Part II expands it.
BEYOND THE CLOTHING
This story lives beyond the clothing.
It lives in the people who wear it. The spaces we create.
The culture we continue to build.
